Journey's and Adventure's

Those of you in our lives know the all we can think about is house house house.. What to do ? What needs to be done? How? When? Who? This has been such an exciting journey though- waiting to jump at the phone call to hear a new bit of good news. It has indeed been something I never really imagined happening and couldn't be happier it has.Wednesday all the paper work was signed,(after we had had a celebration lunch with the Cash -fam) So yes tomorrow is the day we get our keys.. The journey has come to a end in one aspect and has barely begin to start in another! We were very fortunate enough to get some time in the house already to prepare (even though it was very illegal) but still have so much to do..What has been done: the much much needed vacuuming.. which still can be done a couple thousand times, The accent walls were painted in a DARK burgundy color, the other wall we has done in a light gray but still need another coat. The pink room as well as the blue room have been painted white but still need the trim done, the hall bathroom is almost done just need the touch ups and half the kitchen floor has been tore out. As for what needs to still be done. The kitchen floor-tear the rest out and lay down tile - The new sliding glass door.  Paint in the kitchen, dining room, master room and closets. The kitchen cabinets need to be sanded primered painted and new hardware put on.  And as 

much as I would like to do a minor re-model in our bedroom bathroom. I don't see that happening quite yet.. that ok though I think we'll be there for a while = ) Let see whatelse to report.. We all cut off our hair yesterday. Starting with taking Tristen to get it professionally done. 

Then Rich and I did out 

beautiful at home hack jobs. Its a good thing hair grows back. oh and we wen to the park yesterday and fed the ducks and played on the playground. It was alot of fun. Refreshing really. hmmm.O Tristen and I had a library day which was too cute.. I told him to pick out a book- Which he looked through them grabbed one,showed it too me and started walking to the counter like he had done this ten time. It was soo cute.. Book of choice was Chicka Chicka ABC's..

 LOL. 

We also went to on an outing to Tahoe. We surprised Daddy at work then went to lunch and visited Gpa Gomez at Applebee's. 

Then we did a lil shopping  and went to G'ma Gomez's..Tristen had a few meltdowns when we got there but all in all it was a good day. I wish he knew all his family good enough not to have meltdowns. Its sucks and he's recently

been freakin out if anyone hugs me .. Total mama's boy. I know.. Oh well.. Whatelse.. Oh Grant has brought over his- maybe kinda sorta girlfriend... I'm very proud and happy for him She seems pretty freakin cool. I hope to hell it works out cause she seems like she may have broke some hearts in her day and he deserve more than most people I know to find some love and happiness.. and I don't want to brake her neck.. lol..Jason and johnny are supposed to come this weekend I'm super excited. I miss them both alot..  O yeah we had lots of birthdays!!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NAOMI!! SAMMY!! KRYSTAL AND JASON!!! AND LISA and MY MOM IS COMING UP!!!  SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!! In other Randomness...

I forgot to mention that my fabulous friends Lauren and Greg came in to town in Jan and pulled us out of the hose for a adult night!! It was a lot of fun with some good tunes !! 

Prince even ..Mercy Keenen and J-Bird were there as well. The boys spin a place a few blocks from here and we finally got out to hang for a while!! While GREAT G'ma did the babysitting! It was awesome to see her light up at the fact she was asked and feeling good enough to do it! It was the cutest thing to come home and see him passed out on the couch spread Eagle like he just ran a marathon. So thank you G'ma and thank you Friends!! Oh yeah and the day before that the Kingston Klan came for a visit! He is so cute and is growing up super fast!They we're alot of fun to hang with and actually came down again last Thursday.We hope to make it a re-occurring thing! So since that.. I think we've just been busy with the house.. Then came my birthday which was pretty un-eventful. We stopped at the Chocolate nugget -on the way to Reno.You know that Candy store on the way in the middle of nowhere? Well it was cool and you should go there too! So anyways we putz around Reno before the highlight of the day.. Which was meeting the Cash-Fam for SUSHI!!THANK YOU CASH FAM!! .And Tristen rather enjoyed the sushi himself.Giving him lil pieces of thing at a time - He held his lil chopstick then all the sudden reached over and stabbed his own sushi  roll!! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOo funny.The picture is kinda blurry but still Funny.

It was a great time and the boys did good till the end Tristen was actually really Fussy all day though.. To find out  he popped out like 5 teeth in a matter of 2 days. So cant really blame him.I DID however get a Gift card to THE HOME DEPOT from the Gomez's which was pretty f-in fabulous!! Speaking of LORI J GOMEZ had a birthday !! WOOT !! You young-yin you!! Then came Valentines Day which was also pretty uneventful.Except for Tristen and I made a cake  and boy what and event that turned into.We also went into the future new house and painted the bathroom the other day.. that was fun. It looks so much better. We just need to finish it now..lol .. So anywho. So from there that brings me to today.. Where hold your mean comments if you please... WE got a dog yesterday!! WTF?!?!?! Your thinking I know.. We've been talking about it - telling ourselves yes then no ..A million reason on both hands.. All the sudden a amazingly cute dog with all the goodies pops up on craigslist for 100 bucks - the crap alone is worth more so we are on it like flies on sh*t . Genius idea let me tell you - He is of course the cutest ugly pug ever and we were sold! Half was home - when we had to stop to get milk - and stop for a potty stop and Tristen freakin cause Oz is my lap- I knew.. WE DUN FUCKED UP! So I tried to contacted the lady today - Got ahold of someone else who wants to by him and now I wait for the mistake to be picked up.. I was hard for only 24 hours Tristen eating dog food -Oz eating al his toys- Them fighting over the toys. Then his momentary spurts of Crack attacks.. yeah Im cool.Whatever Lesson learned.. So I think that all the new news.. We are just waiting to hear back from underwriting.. Hopefully the next post wil be WE ARE MOVING!

OH YEAH I also want to say CONGRATS TO LIL KIM !! She is Preggo!!XOXOX LOVE TO ALL!!!

The Mission-the House - The LOVE

So since about September Rich and I started looking casually at house ans prices and did the occasional drive by.. Well nothing totally got us worked up but we little by little started learning the lingo and the world of real estate... Then I hear not one but 2 friends of mine are looking to buy.. So to be honest this put a fire on my ass to learn EVERYTHING I could.. And in the midst of this I found a loan that is a 100% financing! Then talking to Krystal (always in this world of real  estate) tell me the things they have learned as well as her step mom's BF is a realtor, Her step mom sells home owners insurence and her dad can do a house inspection.. So now I know people in the BIZ woot woot!! Still no house had rocked my boat.. AND THEN.. not even a couple days after I find out all this information THEE HOUSE pops up.. Rich and I knew within 5 minutes of peekin in windows we were going to "play the game"!!So I called up the realtor who I'd only spoken to once to just kinda tell her who we were and get some info- her name is Weenie!!! And told her would we love to see the inside..She says how about 15 minutes ..Whoa already she is ON IT! It was soo nice but def beat to shit by the prior people .. So sad really. It looked like it kinda ended on a bad note.. which it being a foreclosure and bank owned.. It kinda confirms that a little. Anyhow it needs a little work but I think it will be a great place to call home.. We saw it on the 18th put a offer in on the 23rd.. And are now in Escrow as of the 2nd!! We have a estimated closing date on or before March 10th!!! So as always things dont always go perfectly smooth and we have got caught in a couple binds and I want to thank those from the bottom of my heart for being there for us !! Knowing how much this means to us!! Mom you've been amazingly supportive thank you for ALL that you did, Dad thanks for the advice and cant wait to see you! Daddy Z you know we couldn't have done it without you!!G'ma for the stove!!! Your endless selflessness will never be forgotten!

Lisa and Scott thank you for the offer that gave up the backbone to proceed!!Krystal and Jason for the hook-ups and knowledge and for putting the fire under my ass! AND LASTLY I want to thank my husband for making my dreams come true by not buying me a house but making it a HOME!! I love you all SOSOS SOOSOSOSOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!! 

Merry Happy Christmas New Years Birthday !!

Starting way back, Last year already, lol, on Christmas. Christmas Eve day started with a package from Aimees mom . Its a new school bus that sings and boy does he LOVE that thing!! ALOT . I know have the words Stop n Go Stop n Go in my head daily.. Thanks G'ma Brenda.Then we got a lil visit from The Caires'.We lub them..After a while we headed to G'ma's a.k.a. Santa land and really enjoyed ourselves. Its hard not to be in the spirit when you have Elvis music and 90 billion Santa's around you.. It was kinda sad that we were lackin in family (Jason Alena Johnny The Zerby's) but we know you were there in heart.. We got lots of great presents but I have to say the highlight for was towards the end of the night, Tristen and Gauge both were getting super tired and kept laying on the floor resting there heads on each both delirious and happy. Gauge is my Uncle's Mike new step son hes about 2 or so. So this is where I left off before and so now

... Had a Poker night.. Where Andrea AND Erica got a lil to tipsy LOL... I love when they come up we have alot of fun just doing nothing..  After they left a few hours later Aimee and Chris arrived. He had been planning for to surprise her for her birthday by coming up since Tristen's birthday!So Chris and I had done some secret planning since then.. Aimee was hoping to go to Disneyland so instead we planned a 

Princess party!They got to stay for a week and once again we had a blast doing nothing.. We tried to be grown ups and go out for a nice but it didnt work out.= ( oh well .. Whatelse oh we went to Cash mans first birthday!! I love that little family! Then Aimee and Chris left the next day.. After 10 days of company it was so weird to just be the 3 of us again! It was a amazing month!!! So amazing i sucked at even having 5 minutes to write a blog!! So there is it is!! Happy birthday- Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! 

Tristen is a whole year old!!!

The day started with the whole"What we're we doing right now at this time last year"?!?!  It's been the most amazing - special- indescribable year of my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world!! On Friday everyone started to filter in early morning starting with Nino and Jason.  Then later on in the evening Chris and Aimee came. So already a mini party was happening..We are fortunate to happy family drive a billion miles just to see our lil man turn 1 !!Saturday started on full speed .. And people started to show up starting at 11 and the party was AWESOME!! Lots of people, presents and LOVE!!He loved his cake and dove in face first- He had a mini baby party in his ball pit(from The Gomez's)(Get better Allie)  He, however was more interested in the balloons more than anything!!!I would love to go on and on about all his great gifts and all the lil details but I don't think that I could even begin with that. It was just plain perfect and THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for all the great gifts and coming to celebrate.. It wasn't just a celebration of him being a year but its been a honor to be a mother for the last year.. He was such a good boy the whole day -We had to be the proudest parent on earth that day- Well everyday really!!!  !! He had a lil meltdown before everything but that was all .. I felt like he was showing off and felt like he knew that the days way about him.. and he HAD to be "Big"LOL... Sadly everyone had to go home = ( We will miss you all = (

On Wednesday We met up with the Cash Fam and took Santa pictures.. We went back to the same Santa we took Tristen to last year when he was only 2 days old..He IS the real Santa- I Believe! It was so cute! So special.. As for what I talked about last week, His heart appointment went great.. He's no better but not worse..Surgery could still be in the future but not showing signs now so that's good. And he truly has THEE best cardiologist a parent could hope for..  As for G'ma's Santa land it was in the paper last friday,it was a beautiful article and I couldn't be more grateful to see the joy in G'ma's eyes to share her collection with the world..She is soooo cute -I love you Santa Lady!!  So Happy Holidays to all!! Next POST - CHRISTMAS!! ..P.s. Dad I love you and Miss you a ton- Don't be hard on yourself for not being able to be here  or get us the best gifts Having you IN my life is gift enough!!! K!!! And Mom I'm proud of you for pulling through your surgery HAng in there feel better and know we love you !!!

More Fall Family Fun

It makes me sad that my blogs get further and further apart.. But what can I say, even if we do nothing at all EVERYDAY is a busy day!! So starting with Daddy's birthday.. It was awesome the whole Gomez family came!! Making it extra special for Daddy..  And the day before The Zembiks (my sisters and Daddys Z and Andrea) came for the weekend. And my mom came and g'ma came by!! Daddy got lots of presents for his pool table! It was so cute... he strutted a beaming smile of pride all the day!!! The next day we went for with Daddy Z and Andrea to Reno. It was alot of fun but the real fun started when we came home.Auntie DeAnna watched Tristen while we played  some Texes hold em and drank some whickey(I know right?!?!).. I won one round and then Andrea won the next!!! So as always it was wonderful to see everyone and thanks to everyone for coming out!! And Dhen there was Thanksgiving .. Which we decided to do at our house this year.. I woke up that morning nice and early, looked in the fridge.. and not till then- I realized what the F I got myself into.. But after to some phone calls and some Internet help.. I have to say I did pretty damn good in that kitchen. Everything turned out really good.. but I officially HATE peeling hardboiled eggs.. F- those eggs!!! Daddy got off early -and My mom and Alena got there shortly and of course G'ma cookin her lil heart out across the street so.. I definitely had help!!

 I was really excited that the Caries came for a visit I got to see a cousin I haven't seen in like 10 years!

 The Mullens came by .. Uncle Grant was there too! It really was Perfect.. 

I even got a lil tipsy... Actually I think I have to admit I was closer to drunk than tipsy..he he ! Lets see oh the Longs came by for a short visit on Sunday.. Noah is sitting almost all by

 himself and he smiles all the day!! I lub him!! From there and in between has just been Christmasprojects and whatnot.. Yesterday we wenprojects and whatnot.. Yesterday we went and got a Christmas Tree and its beautiful!!! Tristen says Preeay(pretty). It was great decorating it we got SO many beautiful ornaments last year!!  

Today was a fabulous day,we were told by Mrs.Lori J Gomez to come to her house today at 3:00 no questions!!

And so we did cause you tend to do 

what she says no matter who you are..lol And it was pretty flippin cool I have to say. Tristen was extremly excited to see the doggy and and I think I can speak for us all when we LOVE to watch Tristen and Masen play!

Anyways she bust out 2 boxes one for Stephanie and one for us.. She, whale and Gpa Gomez got us a new Video Camera!!!It going to be so cool to see the videos 5 years from now and then 10 years when he is like WHOA thats me!! So Thank you thank you thank you !!! It means alot to be able to capture something so precious!! WE love you guys!! 

From there we made a visit to The Pauls!! And we got to meet baby Kingston!!! Who is a doll and his hair is just too cool!! We talked baby talk and really had a good time!! Hanging with other parents is always so nice cause when you have a kid it becomes your world and sometimes when you talk to those's that have not yet experienced it, I feel as though maybe I talk too much about it.. It's another world you know what i mean.. 

So anywho Big day tomorrow Tristen has a heart appointment, he hasn't had one in 6 months. Its huge because he is more active and running and stuff so they 

really want to see how that is effecting his heart now. I pray everything is ok.. and in my heart I think it is. ALSO the newspaper is coming to G'ma's house tomorrow. I called them up and they decided to come right away!! SO Ill have a update soon and picture of Santa land.. I feel like Im forgetting a bunch of stuff but its ok I call it mommy brain.. lol.. Love to you all!! 

Grown up's

Busy busy busy ..and I love love love it... Alright let's go back..Think... think.....hmm It's been like 2 weeks already GAEE WHIZ.. Time flies..Ok I got it.. We had a fabulous dinner with the Brito family at the oh so yummy San Marco's Grill (They own it)!! We met up with Nina Jess to finally met Em and baby Hollace!!The proud papa Marco and proud G'pa were also there.. It was really awesome to see everyone.. and Mr.Tristen fell in love with the baby.. He kept saying baby! And was VERY concerned when she cried even the smallest sound(..She was soooo beautiful too...) Aside from paying much attention to her he was quite the ham that night.. Doing all this tricks and walking everywhere.. He also got a  taste for REAL Mexican food..lol Nina let him taste her like Habano chicken and he bout turned 80 shades of red! Mean Nina!! Mean!! Lol But he took it like a champ- I don't know how, but he did. Aside from that -The next and SO fabulous day that comes to mind is OUR ANNIVERSARY!!! 11-11 We've been married 2 years.. The day started our great and lasted all day.. Firstoff Tristen slept in and Rich and I woke up and enjoyed a peaceful morning and exchanges cards.He got me lilys the night before and I woke up to roses. So funny, I ended up deciding to make his card but the card he got me was the one I had in the cart!! Isn't that crazy! After that we had some breakfast and then headed out while Nina watched Tristen.. Rich had no idea what we were doing cause I said I would plan this year.. Well fate stepped in and they just opened a Massage Envy in town.. After weeks of trying to find a massage place that wouldn't charge a arm and a leg.. It was great it cost about what it was for one somewhere else! AND we were able to get done in the same room at the same time.. No Where else I called could do this.. So yeah it was glorious yellow!  After we went for a quick lunch and cocktail.. Then came home had a Delicious dinner and a yummy cake I made ! Whatelse.. We've been doing alot of X-mas shopping and Birthday planning. I am so excited for the lil projects I got going on!! . I took Tristen to feed the ducks last week. Then we all went as a family a few days later because he really really loved it and daddy had to see how cute it was..  Another reason aside from getting out and getting some fresh air, was he just seemed to be ULTRA fussy this week. . Waking up more than usual and we all know he already wakes up a ton, He was crying at the drop of a hat and just anything would set him off. So not knowing what the heck else to do I ran out of options and took him to the Dr. finally. I mean when a kid cries at the park you know somethings wrong RIGHT?!?! So the Dr. checked him all out . I thought teething maybe or ears.. But nothing .. Not even teeth = (  She said if he kept up to bring him back for a pee test. But since we left he has been better all around.. Isn't that weird?!?!!? Other odds and ends news.. We ran into Auntie Kathy at Wal-mart! She is going to be 70 soon!! Wow that's a big one and i think she still looks great! So you go girl!! We love you and it was awesome seeing you!! We also got to see mom and Pure Country for a brief visit and got a couple cute pictures! We became grown ups this week and got a dining table! Daddy worked his spray paint magic and it looks GaRATE! And lastly, Yesterday Tristen got a bug boy haircut and took some 1st birthday pictures!He did pretty good I have to say but we did cheat and gave him a sucker.. but I thought for a minute she was cut his ear off if he didn't chill so. give and take.. I'll give a sucker for a ear..lol   And just one more picture cause mom had fun playing with the camera!
