Tristen is a whole year old!!!

The day started with the whole"What we're we doing right now at this time last year"?!?!  It's been the most amazing - special- indescribable year of my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world!! On Friday everyone started to filter in early morning starting with Nino and Jason.  Then later on in the evening Chris and Aimee came. So already a mini party was happening..We are fortunate to happy family drive a billion miles just to see our lil man turn 1 !!Saturday started on full speed .. And people started to show up starting at 11 and the party was AWESOME!! Lots of people, presents and LOVE!!He loved his cake and dove in face first- He had a mini baby party in his ball pit(from The Gomez's)(Get better Allie)  He, however was more interested in the balloons more than anything!!!I would love to go on and on about all his great gifts and all the lil details but I don't think that I could even begin with that. It was just plain perfect and THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for all the great gifts and coming to celebrate.. It wasn't just a celebration of him being a year but its been a honor to be a mother for the last year.. He was such a good boy the whole day -We had to be the proudest parent on earth that day- Well everyday really!!!  !! He had a lil meltdown before everything but that was all .. I felt like he was showing off and felt like he knew that the days way about him.. and he HAD to be "Big"LOL... Sadly everyone had to go home = ( We will miss you all = (

On Wednesday We met up with the Cash Fam and took Santa pictures.. We went back to the same Santa we took Tristen to last year when he was only 2 days old..He IS the real Santa- I Believe! It was so cute! So special.. As for what I talked about last week, His heart appointment went great.. He's no better but not worse..Surgery could still be in the future but not showing signs now so that's good. And he truly has THEE best cardiologist a parent could hope for..  As for G'ma's Santa land it was in the paper last friday,it was a beautiful article and I couldn't be more grateful to see the joy in G'ma's eyes to share her collection with the world..She is soooo cute -I love you Santa Lady!!  So Happy Holidays to all!! Next POST - CHRISTMAS!! ..P.s. Dad I love you and Miss you a ton- Don't be hard on yourself for not being able to be here  or get us the best gifts Having you IN my life is gift enough!!! K!!! And Mom I'm proud of you for pulling through your surgery HAng in there feel better and know we love you !!!

More Fall Family Fun

It makes me sad that my blogs get further and further apart.. But what can I say, even if we do nothing at all EVERYDAY is a busy day!! So starting with Daddy's birthday.. It was awesome the whole Gomez family came!! Making it extra special for Daddy..  And the day before The Zembiks (my sisters and Daddys Z and Andrea) came for the weekend. And my mom came and g'ma came by!! Daddy got lots of presents for his pool table! It was so cute... he strutted a beaming smile of pride all the day!!! The next day we went for with Daddy Z and Andrea to Reno. It was alot of fun but the real fun started when we came home.Auntie DeAnna watched Tristen while we played  some Texes hold em and drank some whickey(I know right?!?!).. I won one round and then Andrea won the next!!! So as always it was wonderful to see everyone and thanks to everyone for coming out!! And Dhen there was Thanksgiving .. Which we decided to do at our house this year.. I woke up that morning nice and early, looked in the fridge.. and not till then- I realized what the F I got myself into.. But after to some phone calls and some Internet help.. I have to say I did pretty damn good in that kitchen. Everything turned out really good.. but I officially HATE peeling hardboiled eggs.. F- those eggs!!! Daddy got off early -and My mom and Alena got there shortly and of course G'ma cookin her lil heart out across the street so.. I definitely had help!!

 I was really excited that the Caries came for a visit I got to see a cousin I haven't seen in like 10 years!

 The Mullens came by .. Uncle Grant was there too! It really was Perfect.. 

I even got a lil tipsy... Actually I think I have to admit I was closer to drunk than tipsy..he he ! Lets see oh the Longs came by for a short visit on Sunday.. Noah is sitting almost all by

 himself and he smiles all the day!! I lub him!! From there and in between has just been Christmasprojects and whatnot.. Yesterday we wenprojects and whatnot.. Yesterday we went and got a Christmas Tree and its beautiful!!! Tristen says Preeay(pretty). It was great decorating it we got SO many beautiful ornaments last year!!  

Today was a fabulous day,we were told by Mrs.Lori J Gomez to come to her house today at 3:00 no questions!!

And so we did cause you tend to do 

what she says no matter who you are..lol And it was pretty flippin cool I have to say. Tristen was extremly excited to see the doggy and and I think I can speak for us all when we LOVE to watch Tristen and Masen play!

Anyways she bust out 2 boxes one for Stephanie and one for us.. She, whale and Gpa Gomez got us a new Video Camera!!!It going to be so cool to see the videos 5 years from now and then 10 years when he is like WHOA thats me!! So Thank you thank you thank you !!! It means alot to be able to capture something so precious!! WE love you guys!! 

From there we made a visit to The Pauls!! And we got to meet baby Kingston!!! Who is a doll and his hair is just too cool!! We talked baby talk and really had a good time!! Hanging with other parents is always so nice cause when you have a kid it becomes your world and sometimes when you talk to those's that have not yet experienced it, I feel as though maybe I talk too much about it.. It's another world you know what i mean.. 

So anywho Big day tomorrow Tristen has a heart appointment, he hasn't had one in 6 months. Its huge because he is more active and running and stuff so they 

really want to see how that is effecting his heart now. I pray everything is ok.. and in my heart I think it is. ALSO the newspaper is coming to G'ma's house tomorrow. I called them up and they decided to come right away!! SO Ill have a update soon and picture of Santa land.. I feel like Im forgetting a bunch of stuff but its ok I call it mommy brain.. lol.. Love to you all!! 

Grown up's

Busy busy busy ..and I love love love it... Alright let's go back..Think... think.....hmm It's been like 2 weeks already GAEE WHIZ.. Time flies..Ok I got it.. We had a fabulous dinner with the Brito family at the oh so yummy San Marco's Grill (They own it)!! We met up with Nina Jess to finally met Em and baby Hollace!!The proud papa Marco and proud G'pa were also there.. It was really awesome to see everyone.. and Mr.Tristen fell in love with the baby.. He kept saying baby! And was VERY concerned when she cried even the smallest sound(..She was soooo beautiful too...) Aside from paying much attention to her he was quite the ham that night.. Doing all this tricks and walking everywhere.. He also got a  taste for REAL Mexican food..lol Nina let him taste her like Habano chicken and he bout turned 80 shades of red! Mean Nina!! Mean!! Lol But he took it like a champ- I don't know how, but he did. Aside from that -The next and SO fabulous day that comes to mind is OUR ANNIVERSARY!!! 11-11 We've been married 2 years.. The day started our great and lasted all day.. Firstoff Tristen slept in and Rich and I woke up and enjoyed a peaceful morning and exchanges cards.He got me lilys the night before and I woke up to roses. So funny, I ended up deciding to make his card but the card he got me was the one I had in the cart!! Isn't that crazy! After that we had some breakfast and then headed out while Nina watched Tristen.. Rich had no idea what we were doing cause I said I would plan this year.. Well fate stepped in and they just opened a Massage Envy in town.. After weeks of trying to find a massage place that wouldn't charge a arm and a leg.. It was great it cost about what it was for one somewhere else! AND we were able to get done in the same room at the same time.. No Where else I called could do this.. So yeah it was glorious yellow!  After we went for a quick lunch and cocktail.. Then came home had a Delicious dinner and a yummy cake I made ! Whatelse.. We've been doing alot of X-mas shopping and Birthday planning. I am so excited for the lil projects I got going on!! . I took Tristen to feed the ducks last week. Then we all went as a family a few days later because he really really loved it and daddy had to see how cute it was..  Another reason aside from getting out and getting some fresh air, was he just seemed to be ULTRA fussy this week. . Waking up more than usual and we all know he already wakes up a ton, He was crying at the drop of a hat and just anything would set him off. So not knowing what the heck else to do I ran out of options and took him to the Dr. finally. I mean when a kid cries at the park you know somethings wrong RIGHT?!?! So the Dr. checked him all out . I thought teething maybe or ears.. But nothing .. Not even teeth = (  She said if he kept up to bring him back for a pee test. But since we left he has been better all around.. Isn't that weird?!?!!? Other odds and ends news.. We ran into Auntie Kathy at Wal-mart! She is going to be 70 soon!! Wow that's a big one and i think she still looks great! So you go girl!! We love you and it was awesome seeing you!! We also got to see mom and Pure Country for a brief visit and got a couple cute pictures! We became grown ups this week and got a dining table! Daddy worked his spray paint magic and it looks GaRATE! And lastly, Yesterday Tristen got a bug boy haircut and took some 1st birthday pictures!He did pretty good I have to say but we did cheat and gave him a sucker.. but I thought for a minute she was cut his ear off if he didn't chill so. give and take.. I'll give a sucker for a ear..lol   And just one more picture cause mom had fun playing with the camera! 

Now and Later

For as long as I can remember Halloween has been one of my favorite Holidays EVER! I used to think all year long about what I was going to be or random ideas that just make me laugh.. Whale...These last 2 years have been far different from those years before!! And it's quite alright! I just cant wait for next year.. and the year after and year after that and so on....because my goal is to one day have that house! The one you tell people "O man you got to drive by so and so, It's SOOO cool"! I want to be able to come up with costumes for Tristen where he will be the ONLY one to wear it! And well if he just wants to be Spiderman.. Then he will be the BEST Spiderman EVER!!! O yes.. It will happen.. Anywho...On to our Halloween adventures! On Tuesday we did a family pumpkin carving night with the Gomez' family.(That would be my fabulous In-laws) and it was awesome time! Everyone was super excited and doing their best to have the coooooooooooolest pumpkin.. O course Rich had the coolest cause he so good at that kind of crap! lol. Aside from pumpkin carving we had the joy of watching Masen and Tristen chasing each other.. First time then were REALLY able to interact to the fullest!!Pretty much the cutest thing ever!!!Good family fun!!Doesn't Tristen look horrified!!LOL

O and I wanted to also mention earlier that day i got to visit with my good friend Amber Zo! It was great to see her and we spent some time catchin up at the beach! I'm Proud of you Amber and how far you've come!

You Go girl!! Tristen has a blast playing in the sand and checkin out the birds.. Who in my opinion kept getting way too close! 

 

Our Teddy Bear!

Yes another costume! 

I had to add the teddy bear picture cause I LOVE it.. His girlfriend Lily Let him borrow this for the cold days and well I had fun running around town the day before Halloween Just hearing the giggles and laughs from others!

On Halloween itself Tristen and Cash were Yoda and Darth Vader! They pretty much wore there costumes for a hour as us parents struggled to get some good pictures! But the kids played and played .. and did NOT want to go to sleep! I think Tristen loves having the Cash-Fam visit as much as I do! 

They are so the bestest buddies and I love it!!! 

I had a great Halloween and i think everyone else did! We also got to hang out with my side of the family and then Aunite Alena hung out for few days.. YEAY! I want to Thank G'ma Reesa again for all the goodies you got for Tristen!! Thank you Thank you We love ya!! Whatelse... Ummm we Obama WON !! I think its great!!! I could go on and on but to sum it up.. It was NOT that long ago there was the black white segregation.. And if you said 40 years ago one day we will have a black president no one would have believed it and BAM here we are!! I think it's pretty exciting!You know whatelse is exciting my Anniversary to marrying the most wonderful husband ever is in 6 days!!! Then his birthday is 12 days later THEN 32 days is Tristens  1 Birthday!!!

Short and Sweet

First I want to start with a extra special heart filled 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NINA JESSICA!!! 

We have been been able to spend the last couple days with her.Well she is the JeeeenNAY to my Forest.. The Janet to 

my Paula, the Supreme to my Nacho..lol. Anyways We love her! We had a fabulous lunch for 2 days in a row.. And let me just say the first day I thought I'd get al crazy and drink a cocktail.. A Perfect Strawberry Margarita from Applebee's and Oh My God!! It was SOOO Good! But I tend to forget WHY I don't drink..And about a hour later.... I had a pounding headache forever and went to bed at 7:30.. What a loser huh!!! Anyways That was the extent of my party-ing!! So on her actually birthday we did something a little more mommy-style.Jessica Tristen and I made Cookies!!

 He had a blast.. Then we had some laughs and put him in Daddy's old cowboy boots..lol.. 

Anyways I usually go in order but oh well.. Going back to Wednesday The Cash Family came! 

It was too cute cause although it hasn't been a long time since the last visit Tristen couldn't walk and Cash couldn't stand.. So they were all over the place.. Really interacting or should I say fighting over balloons..It was too cute and I cant wait for Halloween!!

 Whatelse.. Tristen Has finally learn to clap...lol.. he can touch his head! and he has found his bellybutton! He's so smart = )

PRIDE.....

 On the last post I wrote about Little Man Walking and since then he's been on a ROLL!!! Its insane but the cutest thing ever!! I wanted to also go back to that because I didn't get a chance to talk about Tio Jason coming. It was SOOOOO nice to see him and spend some time. I'am so proud of him and the man he's become.. aww.. He spent the night and got to be a part of Tristen's big walking night and the next morning took Tristen  shopping! Tio got him some Fubu Kicks, a Mecca Shirt and a Pelle Pelle shirt.LOL. Those not familiar with the brands... um Thug baby! LOL.. But I think its cute and love to watch the pride Jason takes in his nephew. 

So that was October 10 & 11. On the 12th Mom came for a little visit and got to spend time with her little Yoda.. I miss her lots and hate hate hate STILL, that she lives so far!! Monday we did nothing with daddy (and Nina came by) and Tuesday the 3 of us ventured to the library. Not much to say on Wednesday or Thursday.. Friday my mommy friend Ashley came by with Tyler and her husband Matt.It was awesome to see Tristen interact with baby Tyler. However Tristen was quite the show off. Where he had taken steps here and there since his big night, he decide to act as though he'd been walking his whole life that day. But the highlight of our month had to been Saturday.

Daddy got off super early so we- along with G'ma- went to the Harvest Festival! There was a petting zoo, Corn field maze, of course a pumpkin patch.

 (lots of other stuff too ) It was indescribable to see the excitement in Tristen's face as it lit up at all the newness of everything around him. Not just that watching G'ma live through it with a child's eyes. AND Not only THAT but to think she was watching her baby's, baby, watch her baby take in the world. WOW. It really is an amazing world we live in.. huh?!?!?

 So we started with the Petting Zoo and it was super cute Tristen's lil brain looked to be churning 10 miles a second!! I got a lil nervous though cause the donkey took a little TOO much interest in Tristen.The first part of the day we had him wearing the lil Tigger costume. And I personally think the donkey thought Tristen was a giant carrot!! . (The costume was given to us by Auntie Cathy,Cousin Jennifer and cousin Timmy,THANK YOU!!!) From there we walked around to all the lil exhibits and then the 3 of walked through the corn field maze, while gma took a rest. After that we finally went to pick out our pumpkins! 

Poor lil Tristen wanted nothing more than to walk walk walk.. and somehow he grew out of his shoes this week that I brought.. lol. So we left him get a lil dirty and walk in his socks..lol..We all had a blast! From there we took G'ma to a couple Thrift stores and we of course found something for Tristen.. It was a Elmo of some soft and after the battery battle it came to all our surprise.. ELMO did the HOKEY POKEY!!! Tristen had no idea what to think !! It was sooooooo funny a lil laugh- a lil whine and death grip hug on mommy.. but today a day later he dances to it and its sooooo cute!! Well worth the 2 bucks!!

Last but not least I gave lil man yet another hair cut..lol.. He has soooooooooooo much hair. I tried to make it look like daddy's !It will never really stick up like that it was cute for the picture!!

I also want to add Tristen has not only added more words to his vocabulary

 he can now READ 4 words!!Yes I said read!Its been like 2 days straight of  it so I think it safe to say..He can read CAT DOG HI and EYES!!
